Snow Falls

They didn’t know that summer would feel like winter

They didn’t know that we’d have to prepare for snow

They didn’t know it would leave a taste so bitter

To linger here with the summer snow

And I know that you shouldn’t bet on nothing

Especially what you think you know

Surely that has got to count for something

I’ll take it with me where e’er I go

They say that snow doesn’t fall here in December

And that it barely snows at all

Yet I’m left struggling to remember

What the Sun felt like before

I’ll wander where e’er I need to go

To find a land bereft of snow

Check every hill and borough

Just need some company to borrow

I’ll take it with me where e’er I go

Always wandering in the summer snow

I’ll take it with me where e’er I go

Always wandering in the summer snow

And it follows me where e’er I go

Keep me company, oh summer snow

Let it fall

Let if fall
